Technical skills

Here are the technical skills and experience typically required for our developers:

• Object-oriented development
• Actual experience of middleware-type development and related constraints
• XML technologies (XSL, XSD, Xpath, XQuery…)
• Web Services (WSI)
• Good knowledge of SQL
• HTML, CSS, Javascript
• Ability to select and implement open source components
• Familiarity with agile principles and practices, e.g. continuous integration, XP, TDD, refactoring, etc.

Language skills

Here are the language skills typically required for our developers:

• Good command of written and spoken English
• Good command of written and spoken French
• German is an asset

• .NET: 3 years (framework 2.0, 3.0 and 3.5) (depending on experience level)
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio .NET (2003 & 2005)
• C#, ASP.NET, VB.NET, XAML…
• Test tools like NUnit

Additional knowledge in the following areas is appreciated:

• Microsoft IIS
• Object-Relational Mapping
• Database development (SQL Server 2000 & 2005)
• ETL (DTS, Integration Services)
• Reporting Services
• Analysis Services
• Graphical toolbox libraries (e.g. Infragistics NetAdvantage)
• CSS, HTML
• Another object programming language

• J2SE: 5 years (depending on experience level)
• J2EE: 3 years (depending on experience level)
• Test tools like JUnit
• Good knowledge of at least one platform among the following: JBoss, Weblogic, Websphere
